The current global Vaccine rate is about 34.25 Million doses per day. In terms of total doses administered, India stands 2nd at 573.2 Million behind China (1924.3 Million)  

Insight: In terms of percentage of vaccinated population (fully vaccinated), UK tops at 62% followed by Germany at 59%, India lags behind at 9.3%. High income regions such as North America and Europe have vaccinated 541.1 million and 718.4 million of the population, respectively. Emerging economies in South America and Asia (ex-China) have vaccinated 326.14 million and 1295.7 million of the population, respectively. Emerging economies such as India have fastened their vaccine drives over the last few months. Although, the quantum of vaccine doses is large, the proption of fully vaccinated population is still lagging advanced economies.
